Your responsibilities as the Credit Controller will include:
- Proactively contacting customers to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to encourage prompt payments
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all collections activities
- Chase outstanding cash customers debt as and when required
- Take credit card payments as and when necessary
- Operate direct debit function to ensure that payments are received at the correct time
- Reconciliation of claims outstanding
- Support colleagues and provide cover in the event of any absence
To be considered for the position of Credit Controller, you will require:
- Previous experience in a credit control or collections role is preferred, but candidates with a strong customer service background will also be considered
- Excellent communication skills
- Good telephone manner
