An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Credit Controller to join a well-established plumbing company based in Leicester. We strive in having an enjoyable working environment for all members of our team.
East Goscote Plumbers, part of the Jelson Holdings Group, are a Leicestershire based business that have been established since 1972.
This is a part-time position to support the growth and function of the East Goscote Plumbers Finance team. The role will require you to be responsible for minimising debts and the raising of day to day invoices.
Responsibilities
- Allocating income and expenditure to the ledgers
- Produce account reconciliation and information on a weekly basis
- Chasing aged debts via email, telephone and letter
- Ensuring collections are made in a timely manner
- Minimising bad debts
- Raising customer invoices correctly and on time
- Logging and assisting in the resolution of queries
- Admin duties such as supplying statements, copy invoices, credits to customers
Relevant Qualifications
- AAT or working towards the qualification
- Credit control experience essential
- Good time management
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of MS Excel (Vlookups and Pivot tables)
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
