Chase & Holland are delighted to be working with a company that is looking for a credit controller to join their close-knit team. Experience of working within a credit control role is required along with experience of delivering a high-quality service by building relationships with clients. This role offers candidates the opportunity to work within a company which is based in environmental services and will offer progression along with study support to further their knowledge of credit control.

- Resolving payment queries with customers and chasing overdue payments
- Raising credit notes
- Dealing with debit notes
- Negotiating payment plans and placing customers on stop if needs be
- Dealing with internal queries
- Raising invoices and updating purchase order numbers
- Setting up and activating direct debit mandates
- Taking card payments and manual direct debits
- Dealing with terminations
- Issuing reminder letters
- Reporting on bad debts using Company’s House for information
- Provide support in the credit control team
- Preparation of statements on a monthly basis
- Processing customer remittances when required
- Confidence and persistence on the telephone when liaising with customers
- Be accurate, efficient and organised
- Knowledge of our accounting system (currently Sage)
- Ability to maintain strong relationships with customers
- CICM credit management course would be seen ad beneficial but not essential
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Experience of working in a previous credit control position will be seen as essential
- Full-time, Monday to Friday- 40 hours per week
