Job description
An experienced Credit Controller is required for a company based in Bournemouth. This role would suit someone who loves everything “credit control” and keen to secure a role long term within this part of finance. Working in an experienced Credit Control team of 5, you will be reporting, running invoices, overdue letters, statements, reconcile bank sheets. There is a lot of administration with this role as it’s a varied position so you must have good admin skills and able to work quickly, efficiently and effectively.
Key duties:-
- Processing and allocating receipts for Bacs and Cheques
- Taking payments over the phone and process card payments
- Reconciling unallocated cash
- Credit checking new applications and opening new accounts
- Chasing overdue accounts
- Other administration duties associated with Credit Control
You must have experience in Credit Control and really enjoy this type of work, good attention to detail and working methodically is also key. Good knowledge of Word and Excel and if you have some knowledge of legal collections that would be an advantage.
