Credit Controller
General purpose:

Due to the continued growth and success of our business, we are looking to appoint a Credit Controller to work as part of our Finance team. The successful candidate should be a confident & articulate communicator (both verbally and in writing) that can demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent commercial acumen & decision-making skills, high levels of resilience & tenacity and the ability to work under pressure as well as to timescales.
Key deliverables:
The role will be responsible for: -
Timely distribution of customers statements to the relevant recipients
Calling customers regularly to ensure payment of our invoices is in hand and will be to terms
Support in reconciling customer queries to facilitate payments
Moving customers through our three stage credit control process, even in the face of resistance
Escalate payments that you believe are not recoverable
The processing of customer receipts on Dynamics/Business Central
Handling debtor queries promptly, providing copy invoices and statements of account.
Producing reports relating to credit control activity, progress, and aged debt for the business as required.
Supporting the wider Finance team where required by the Finance Manager or a Director.
Other duties as required in support of the Finance team and business
Requirements – Essential skills:
- Good written and numerical skills
- Experience of working in a credit control position or function.
- Experience of working to timescales.
- Experience working as part of a team and by yourself to deliver different aspects of work.
- Experience of working with a finance system.

Other points:
Job Type: Full-time (37.5 hours/week)
Salary £25,000 Dependant on experience + KPI bonus (upon successful completion of probation)
Location: Office based Linlithgow or Southampton
Core working hours: 08:30-17:30 (subject to local variation)
