Your previous experience should include elements of the roles and responsibilities, but we are also looking for someone who can demonstrate their understanding of the required skills, even if you may have only had some exposure to them in previous roles. This role will develop over time and we want you to be able to develop with the role and identify opportunities for your own personal and the wider business improvements.
Role and Responsibilities
· Coaches and develops junior team members and ensures compliance in credit policies and procedures.
· Provide support to test system updates.
· Develop and manage data sets for continual improvement and data management.
· Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders
· Manage multiple data sets and provide MI to senior management for quality and performance management.
· Perform quality reviews of funded and declined applications and provide training and development to the team.
· Owns and maintains departmental data and document control.
· Carrying out expert analysis to understand underwriting performance.
· Identifying current underwriting risks and opportunities and working with stakeholders to deliver appropriate actions.
· Analysing underwriting MI to highlight potential areas of growth.
· Presenting results of analysis to key stakeholders to gain support for your proposals.
· Future opportunities for playing a role in supporting and developing other analysts within your team.
