About the role
As the charity’s most senior creative, you will lead an award-winning team to deliver inspiring and informative creative content that meets our ambitious strategy and ultimately, improves the lives of people affected by Parkinson’s.
You will shape a refresh of our brand and help to put the tools in place to ensure we're rolling this out across all our channels and across the charity.
You’ll lead a creative team to push boundaries and develop high-impact cross-channel campaigns and content, based on audience insight and fresh creative ideas. You will work directly with the Parkinson's community to pioneer powerful new storytelling techniques through design and AV.

What you'll do:
- Provide confident creative direction and strategy across our visual identity, visual storytelling and campaigns.
- Lead on ensuring a strong visual identity (design, video, photography), which considers the needs of people with Parkinson’s and their supporters and brings our brand to life.
- Lead and inspire our creative team, partner agencies and freelancers to produce and deliver highly-effective, targeted cross-channel content (with oversight for design, audio and video).
- Push forward the creative development and expression of the brand identity through leading the creative function, agencies and management of identity guidelines.
What you'll bring:
- Experience of delivering creative direction and creative strategy for integrated, multi-channel campaigns, in line with the brand.
- Senior management, or equivalent, leadership experience, with a motivated, proactive, and engaging style.
- Proven experience of hands-on cross channel visual design.
- Understanding of all aspects of video production from pre to post, and hands-on experience in AV creation.

As well as flexible working hours, this role is offered on a flexible contract giving you the opportunity to also work from home three days a week. You’ll be required to cover your own travel expenses to the office.
