Location: Coventry Central
Pay: £250 per day (Inside IR35)
Duration: Various assignment lengths available: 3 Months, 6 Months and Freelance (Outisde IR35)

About the role:
We are looking for a Creative Graphic Designer to lead our team of graphic designers working as part of the wider creative team within our in-house agency. The Creative Graphic Designer will be responsible for the evolution of the Severn Trent brand, bringing it to life through great design that will inspire, engage and motivate our customers, colleagues and other stakeholders.
- Working closely with the Brand & Creative manager, Copywriter and our creative agency to evolve our brand identity.
- Act as custodian of our brand, ensuring it is delivered consistently throughout the business.
- Be a part of the design team in our pursuit of being experts in creative content, keeping us at the forefront of creative trends.
- Design, develop and execute high quality, print and digital content.
Key Accountabilities
- Take ownership of the design process, from creative concepts through to delivery across all channels for both internal and external communications
- Work closely with our creative agency partners, where required, to develop best in class creative solutions that are fully aligned with the brand identity.
- Continually raise the bar on creativity, developing content that connects with the audience and drives action.
- Pro-actively stay up-to-date with design and content best practice to help inform future execution.
- Undertake regular reviews of our content to ensure that the brand is consistently applied across all customer touchpoints.
- Manage relationships with key colleagues and stakeholders at all levels, including external agency partners.
- Provide a best in class service to all internal customers, regularly seeking feedback to continually improve our offering.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years professional design experience.
- A portfolio that demonstrates work on integrated campaigns and skills in multi-disciplinary design.
- Experience of developing and managing customer and/or internal communications from brief through to delivery.
- A strategic creative thinker who is as comfortable with conceptual development as you are with executional detail.
- Good creative and visual instinct.
- The ability to build strong collaborative relationships.
- Communicates well verbally, visually, and in writing.
- A passion for Marketing and the adoption of new ideas and channels.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload often requiring short turnaround times.
- Exceptional attention to detail and care for the quality of your work, striving to add value to the smallest of jobs.
- Experience of working in an in-house or agency marketing, communications or design function.
- Experience of using design packages such as Adobe Creative Suite.
