Do you love creating content for the digital space?
The Content Discovery team at BBC Scotland are looking for digitally native Creative to join them to create content to market brands across our portfolio, reaching new and existing audiences
No day will be the same - one moment you’ll be creating memeable content for our social platforms, the next you’ll be pulling together storyboards/scripts for Talent for our digital supporting material.
At the heart of everything you do will be the audience - you’ll be keen to use your creative skills to create content that will engage with them across our platforms.
Ideally you’ll be obsessed with keeping on top of digital and graphic design trends. You’ll be able to think of new ways to reach new audiences and showcase the best of BBC Scotland.

Main ResponsibilitiesWho you’ll be working with
The Content Discovery team sit within Marketing and Audiences and look after a whole host of digital output from across all of BBC Scotland. Our team thrive on creative challenges and strive to build individual skills, as well as each other’s.
Just some of the things we get up to day to day include:
- Creating content to market shows across BBC Scotland digital touchpoints
- Creation of images for BBC platforms like iPlayer, Sounds and more
- Curating content across BBC platforms to create an onward journey for audiences
- Working with our Audiences team to keep on top of digital analytics and adjusting strategy to fit
- Working with other teams within Marketing & Audiences to work to the Marketing and Pan-BBC strategy
- Working with other teams to get our content in front of audiences
- Working with suppliers across the industry to get the assets we need to promote their content
- Social media output across Masterbrand accounts (BBC Scotland, Radio Scotland, River City to name a few)
Are you the right candidate?
Who you are you?:
- You’re passionate about digital platforms as a way of reaching audiences
- You’re adept at switching between Adobe products – Premiere, AfterEffects and Photoshop
- You’re able to shift from one project to another, prioritising to audience needs
- You have a keen eye for detail
- Creative and curious - always looking for new ways to do things and keeping on top of the latest trends.
- Collaborative and a team player - able to give and receive creative feedback and work together to create solutions for audiences
