Job Role: Craft Beer Tour Guide
Location: Manchester
Rate: £50 per four hour tour (£12.50 per hour)
Hours: Part-time to be agreed. Tours run on Saturday afternoons.
Additional: Tour guides keep 100% of gratuities given by guests.

Do you love craft beer and want to share your passion with others? We are looking for a part-time tour guide to lead our award-winning Manchester tours. The role will involve leading groups of up to 20 people on our Saturday afternoon craft beer tours. Your duties will include checking in guests on arrival to the tours, guiding groups to the next venue and explaining points of local interest to the groups along the way. You will also assist in the serving of beers in each venue, provide assistance to the venues as required, and engage in conversations with groups throughout the tour. Expert talks on craft beer and brewing are provided by the breweries and specialist craft beer venues on each tour, and you will need to introduce each speaker in these venues.
This role is a part-time role and will suit someone looking to compliment other responsibilities. Tours run on a Saturday afternoon, and we are looking for a commitment of at least one Saturday tour per month.
Full training will be provided. Experience of leading tours is not essential, but being a friendly, warm and enthusiastic person very much is!

The Craft Tour Company has been leading award-winning tours and experiences since 2018. We are a small, independent business, set up and run by two friends who have a passion for craft beer and exploring. We offer craft beer tasting tours in a variety of cites across the UK, available on our website www.craftbeertours.co.uk. We are expanding our range of tours in 2023 and are looking for enthusiastic and friendly people to lead experiences in cities in the UK. We pride ourselves in offering laid-back but informative experiences that encompass a region’s craft beer scene whilst also exploring the local history of the area. We are a living wage employer, and since our inception we have always donated part of our income to charity. Building on our own voluntary experiences, 50p from each person attending our tours goes to a local charity tackling homelessness. We have a passion for craft beer, people, and exploring local cultures, and we would love to share this with like- minded people.
