Job description
The Faculty of Education invites applications for the post of Courses Assistant. The post holder will work in the Higher Degrees and PPD Courses Office, forming part of a busy and highly motivated team providing administrative support for all Higher Degrees teaching programmes within the Faculty. You will undertake a wide variety of tasks covering the entire student journey including student admissions and induction through to assessment as well supporting the work of committees, updating of course materials and fielding a large volume of student and staff enquiries.
The post holder will be expected to work across multiple course programmes but will also be a key point of contact to both academic colleagues and students in relation to the part time Masters .
The successful candidate will be educated to GCSE standard or have equivalent qualifications or experience and be able to work independently, as well as part of a team. A flexible and adaptable approach to work, strong organisational skills and an eye for detail and accuracy are essential. Experience of working in a Higher Education environment would be advantageous.
