Background
The purpose of this senior administrative post is to support the student journey from enquiry and application through induction, assessment and award. The Course Operations Manager will provide high quality professional support service to key stakeholders including students and the academic team. Sat within the Postgraduate/Post-Registration Team, they will oversee Senior Course Officers, Course Officers, and Student Course Administrators.
Responsibilities
The Course Operations Manager will ensure the efficient and effective management of student-related matters across the School and liaise with central university services to ensure the effective implementation and development of underpinning operational systems and processes. They will work in collaboration with Student and Academic Services to review and develop procedures and systems associated with the capture, processing, management and reporting of student related data. Person Specification
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent and will have experience working in a busy, client focused office environment. It is essential that they have excellent IT skills in MS Office packages and SITS. They will have prior experience line managing and working in a university administrative environment.
