Country Knowledge Expert (Poland)
We have an exciting, new opportunity for a Country Knowledge Expert to join our Polish team within Europe Coordination.
This is a permanent position based in either of our UK offices (London and Sheffield) and offers a fantastic opportunity to join a true global leader and for you to be part of an on-going success story. Other Fragomen European office locations will be considered.

About the team:
The Europe Coordination team is responsible for immigration process for countries where Fragomen does not have a physical office. The Poland team, based in London and Sheffield, is dynamic with employees from many various backgrounds and countries with at least 10 different languages being spoken.
About the role:
A “CKE” has extensive expertise and acts as the contact and source of knowledge for their jurisdiction and is responsible for ensuring knowledge is developed, maintained and accessible. They are accountable for gathering the information required, leveraging appropriate team members and co-counsels (partner firms) and are the final validation point of the data. They provide country specific knowledge as needed for consulting projects or client initiatives.
The expectation is that the CKE will play an active role in the EMEA CKE “Community” and be proactive in all areas of core jurisdictional information. This includes government outreach, legislative review and co-counsel liaison.
Responsibilities will include:
- Process mapping and how-to guide creation for all end to end Polish immigration processes, in order to upskill team members
- Ensuring that knowledge or advisory work completed for clients or firm updates are technically accurate; written communication follows standard layouts and advice is clear, concise and error free
- Providing knowledge updates at regular intervals as well as information for client alerts
- Providing updates when legislative or process changes occur
- Contributing to new Fragomen knowledge products and projects involving Poland
- Delivering CKE information effectively in a variety of written formats including reports, letters, memos, email, etc.
- Review and deliver trainings / presentations / briefings – internal and external
About you:
You will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage your own time. You must have extensive experience of Polish immigration processes.
Also required:
- Strong customer service skills
- Direct government & local authorities interaction / government relations experience
- Knowledge of Posted Worker and Social Security processes advantageous
- Immigration experience/client facing skills
- Previous case/project handling experience
- At ease in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work towards deadlines and work with high volumes
- Polish language
Fragomen in the UK:
Our UK team is made up of over 700 people working across two offices, based in London and Sheffield. Both offices are centrally located in their respective cities, with the Sheffield office having the added bonus of free on-site parking.
