Corporate Supply Chain Strategy Manager
Description
We are looking for a talented Corporate Supply Chain Strategy Manager to join our team in Peterborough, though the location can be flexible.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Leads a variety of the most complex business strategy projects that produce recommendations for addressing strategic opportunities for the business.
- Participates in multiple business strategy projects with direct leadership of significant work streams; projects may be within a business unit, across multiple business units, or involve the creation of a new business venture, such as a joint venture, equity alliance, acquisition, etc.
- Designs and develops strategy through qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Applies strategic frameworks to analyze opportunities and develop solutions; synthesizes environmental data, stakeholder analysis, and market force data as a part of the financial and business analysis necessary to develop insights and solutions to support strategic business decisions.
- Works closely with the Business Segment Presidents and their staffs as well as key internal and external constituencies.
- Communicates complex strategy topics clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences through both written and oral communication.
- Actively participates in campus recruiting activities; conducts interviews on campus; interviews professional hires.
- Maintains business partnerships by effectively leading internal and external partners, such as peers in other units, staff groups, senior management and outside suppliers, to accomplish organizational goals and to identify opportunities and resolve problems.
- Manages, coaches, and mentors others; provides guidance and direction on problems and issues.

Qualifications
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent degree required.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Additional Responsibilities Unique to this Position:
- Support or lead strategy projects to create mitigations for Supply Chain Risk, to support new Pre-Program Planning projects or others instigated by the team. Projects will predominantly Include Supply Chain Network Design.
- Discovers, interprets and communicates qualitative and quantitative data; determines conclusions relying on knowledge of business or functional frameworks; simultaneously applies statistics, data validity, data visualization, and problem-solving approaches to effectively extract meaningful patterns and business insights; presents conclusions and outcomes that enable data driven business decisions.
- Summarize analyses to develop executive-level content and present recommendations to senior leadership and partners to gain agreement on priorities and investments.
- Support the creation of capabilities to manage enterprise networks, across-BU’s and regions at various levels of aggregation to optimize business outcomes such as asset utilization, costs, emissions, working capital, risk and delivery.
- Build and maintain relationships with BU Supply Chain Strategy Leaders to prioritize opportunities and gain agreement on recommendations.
- Maintain close working relationships with partners within the Strategy & Transformation team and with enabling technology partners.
- Gather data and use appropriate analytical methods, mathematical models and tools to develop flexible network scenarios and hypothesis to understand, predict and improve complex manufacturing and logistics operations.
Additional Experience Unique to this Position:
- Significant relevant work experience, including supervisory experience, required.
- Strategy consulting experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Supply Chain Guru or other optimization software strongly preferred.
- Significant experience in creating BI reporting strongly preferred.
