As we continue to grow, we need more people in the driver’s seat of our recruitment processes - will you become our new Talent Acquisition Specialist joining our European team based in one of our UK offices in Hersham, Surrey or Crewe, Cheshire?
It is an exciting time to join the business, there are robust growth plans facilitated by £15Bn worth of global investment. We’re at the forefront of energy transition and have a large-scale project portfolio in plan for the EMEA region. As such this role will be critical to sourcing the best and most diverse EPC talent in the market to drive our business. This will be a pivotal role where you will be performing overall recruitment strategy plans through hands-on delivery.
This role therefore requires an ability to build credible & strategic relationships with internal partners along with taking responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of all recruitment needs.
As our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will:
- Have the day-to-day fulfilment of all vacancies in the region across Engineering, Technical and Corporate functions, guiding internal partners in areas such as diversity best practice and talent attraction.
- Perform all tasks related to recruitment: briefing profiles with managers, posting jobs, screening CVs, conducting interviews, develop new evaluation techniques, making job offers and compensation recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal hiring partners on strategic and tactical recruitment through creative sourcing methods, networking, and employment branding.
- Establish, cultivate and maintain solid working relationships with internal partners (hiring managers, external relationships & other internal recruiting partners)
- Employ a particular focus on diversity, to ensure we proactively seek diverse candidates and equality of slate. This will require innovation and focus to contribute to Global company targets.
- Build a pipeline of top talent and convert passive candidates through managing sourcing channels & identifying new sources of top talent.
- Keep within all sourcing metrics: time to accept, agency hire ratios, customer satisfaction and cost per hire.
- Meeting targets for the appropriate sourcing mix (low-cost routes to market versus 3rd party agency).
- Understanding the local markets, monitoring and reviewing of the internal processes and legislation.
- Promote Air Products as an employer of choice, through all stages of the recruitment process.
- Identify and partner with trusted 3rd party agencies on retained and contingent searches.
- Update team members with weekly metrics and progress reports.
- Expertly manage the candidate journey and offer process. Negotiation skills are key!
- Promote Air Products Employer brand and position the business as the Employer of Choice in the EPC space.
- Proven full cycle recruiting experience ideally from an in-house although an agency (Engineering Recruitment ideally) background would be considered.
- Proven ability to successfully prioritise and manage a large and diverse requisition workload.
- Proven customer service attitude yet possesses the ability to influence and challenge senior internal partners in a professional manner.
- Proactive approach with an ability to react quickly to changing priorities.
- Positive attitude and optimistically takes on responsibilities to successful conclusion.
- Previous experience of working with application tracking systems.
- Strong influencing skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of the EPC market.
