We have a unique opportunity for a Corporate Events & Travel Security Manager to join our team. This is a great job for someone who has previous security experience and has experience of working with VIP’s, Execs and events experience. The post holder will actively contribute to development and delivery of the ‘Aviva Corporate Services’ vision, values and strategy.
A bit about the job:
This role is responsible for ensuring that Aviva receive the right level of Operational Corporate Security services and that the Corporate Security team remain engaged in market and group thinking. Judgement is needed to know when to engage and pull on the services of other market and group functions. The post holder will:
- Develop, elevate, and maintain the policy for Travel security and Corporate Event security
- Produce and manage Security plans for events / VIP visits etc
- Lead the operations associated with the day-to-day management of Travel security across the Group
- Lead the operational security planning for Corporate Events, in coordination with non-security teams responsible for scheduled events
- Maintain a close partnership with the Events and Security teams. Effectively interface with cross functional teams on questions regarding the support of executives and colleagues
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Experience of managing strategic relationships with strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Proven track record of successful event delivery and travel management
- Excellent interpersonal communication and negotiating skills
- Ability to effectively interact with client and team members at all levels
- Excellent report writing/presentation skills
- Professional and presentable at all times upholding Aviva values and behaviours

- Starting salary circa £70,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
