The chance to make an impact

As a Summer Analyst, you’ll spend time with our Global Corporates and Financial Institutions teams, gaining exposure to a variety of Barclays’ businesses and clients. By working closely with experienced relationship directors, you will learn how to assess a client’s needs, then formulate and execute the right solutions to help them reach their goals. You may:

  • prepare presentations and memoranda for existing and new clients.
  • support credit and onboarding due diligence.
  • attend client meetings with experienced bankers.
  • network and build relationships across a global organisation.

A place where you can thrive

At Barclays, you’ll be surrounded by people who will help you achieve your ambitions. Our collaborative, supportive environment gives you the chance to build solid relationships with senior leaders and peers alike. During the program, you’ll also:

  • participate in formal and informal training.
  • connect with junior and senior mentors.
  • attend dedicated networking sessions and other program events.
  • receive detailed performance feedback.
  • give back to the community through volunteer events.

And if you really impress us, this could be the beginning of an incredible career. We invite top-performing, eligible Summer Analysts to join us as full-time Corporate Banking Analysts after graduation.

To be considered for this program, you must:

  • currently be pursuing an undergraduate degree with anticipated graduation year 2024.

Ideally, you would also have:

  • a strong interest in business and banking.
  • strong communication and writing skills.
  • course experience in finance, accounting and economics recommended, but not required.
  • resourcefulness, team-orientation, enthusiasm and an entrepreneurial spirit, demonstrated through participation in extracurricular activities.
