What you’ll be doing
You’ll be responsible for the management of IET Corporate Partner accounts and maintaining and developing the 360 relationships with senior individuals in order to ensure the recruitment and retention of members meets departmental KPIs.
What we hope you can bring to the role
As an experienced account manager, you’ll have previous sales experience and be target driven with experience in delivering on numerical targets as well strong negotiation skills. You’ll be an excellent communicator and be confident in communicating in all forms – written, oral and presentational.
As a natural influencer you’ll be able to build effective stakeholder relationships at all levels, internally and externally.
This role will be homebased but a flexible and adaptable approach is essential, the car allowance that comes with this role will support you in the requirement to travel to customers and attending meetings at our head office in Stevenage, Hertfordshire and as such as full and driving licence is essential.

A little more about the role
· To implement strategy for the account management of existing and potential Corporate Partners.
· To ensure transparency in Corporate Partner Account Development
· To create an implementation plan for all allocated existing Corporate Partner accounts
· To proactively work with new and existing corporate partners to develop membership recruitment opportunities with allocated Corporate Partner accounts, to contribute to the success of the strategic KPI
· Effectively share information within the membership team to provide further corporate partner recruitment opportunities
· Work closely with the Senior Corporate Account Manager to deliver the strategy for the effective recruitment of members from Corporate Partners
· Identify new Corporate partner opportunities within specified criteria
· Follow agreed sales lead process to ensure high conversion of members
· To be able to deliver presentations to aid partner and membership recruitment
· Give support identifying opportunities for collaboration between Academic, Enterprise and other Corporate Partners via mechanisms set out by the Senior Membership Management team
· Work closely with the Membership Scheme Coordinator to manage renewable Central Payment Schemes
· Provide Partnership content for membership communications and for the Partnership web page and social media channels.
· Attend external meetings to build relationships with key stakeholders
· UK wide travel as required to attend external meetings at client sites
· To provide accurate reports and KPIs as required.
· To record all account activity on the CRM System
· Maintain a high level of product awareness across MPD, KSS and GEE.
· To continuously review processes and procedures to support accounts.
· To undertake any reasonable duties and projects as requested by the Partnership and Development Manager.

· Degree or higher education qualification or equivalent level of competence.
· Confident in dealing with people at all levels internally and externally.
· Experience in account management and working with data.
· Excellent team-working, interpersonal and coordinating skills.
· Excellent communication skills – written, oral and presentational.
· Good level of IT skills – Microsoft Office.
· Experience in delivering on numerical targets.
· Target driven.
· Willingness to travel nationally and work irregular hours as required
· Experience in a customer facing environment.
· Experience in negotiating sales/agreements.
· Full Driving License
