Taking our product and industry messages and producing different types of content that help support that journey – from white papers and brochures to straplines and blogs . What you will do
- Create content in support of demand generation programs and campaigns, including: white papers, ebooks, promotional email copy, digital ad and social copy, blogs, video content and more
- Provide copy editing services across all marketing content activities
- Partner with brand and design teams
- Communicate complicated technology topics in clear, concise ways to a non-technical audience
- Present ideas in a clear and focused way that builds consensus within the team
- Work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment with art directors, designers, engineers, strategists and product managers
- Work autonomously, with little hand-holding
- Create original, breakthrough work
Your approach
As a marketing copywriter, you are expected to takes briefs from our campaign and industry teams and turn them into exciting copy. One day this could mean writing a 400-word blog. Another day you could be asked to come up with a killer strapline for an industry-focused program. Or you may be asked to produce an e-book on a topic you’ll have to research.
As part of the Content and Campaigns Team, you will be expected to work on our campaign content, including coming up with original ideas and understanding the aims and strategies we use to drive success for our clients. You’ll be supported by marketing automation and web specialists, as well as other members of the global marketing team.
3+ years experience at agency/in-house concepting and writing copy for global B2B technology brands- A link to an online portfolio showcasing your work (include link on your resume)
- Experience writing in the technology category
- A strong understanding of how writing and conceptual ideas can be used to tell a story on behalf of a brand and within a product
- Short form (Promotional emails, blog posts, social) and Long form (White Papers, ebooks, Research) writing experience
- Advanced grammar and copy-editing skills
- You write fast and fun, and always find the better way to turn a phrase
- Creative writer and storyteller. Must write human
- You’re writing doesn’t feel like marketing
- Interest in product storytelling and project strategy
- Great people-friendly attitude and positive spirit that bring positive energy into any team, and that gives room for creative and open-minded thinking
