You’ll get a bird’s-eye view of the activities at one of the UK’s biggest utility companies and develop lots of skills working with a truly supportive team. You’ll be connecting with people from all across the business to source the most engaging stories to keep our workforce motivated. It’s a great opportunity to join us in taking our company magazine to the next level.”
At EDF, everyone’s welcome. We strive to create an inclusive and diverse environment where everyone has a voice and where you feel confident being yourself. We’re committed to equality, diversity and inclusion. We’d like our future workforce to have an equal gender balance, represent a broad mix of people from minority ethnic backgrounds, LGBTQ+, those with a disability and supporting social mobility.
We’re a disability confident employer and we’ll do all we can to help with your application, making adjustments as you need.
We’ll value the difference you bring and offer opportunities for you to thrive and succeed.
What you’ll be doing
As a Copywriter at EDF, you will be developing high-quality and engaging content for our internal Connect magazine as well as generating ad-hoc content for a range of other communications channels. You’ll create content that embodies the company’s tone of voice being ‘positive, human and brave’.
You will be managing a range of stakeholders to gather information and news on internal initiatives, review and edit content and publish copy both in print and online, ensuring that it is designed to attract, engage and retain readers.
Working closely with the company’s Brand team in Sales and Marketing, you will provide innovative and creative ideas to evolve and improve the magazine, so it remains impactful and relevant in a digital age. Your content will bring to life our corporate content framework and ensure consistency with our brand principles and tone of voice guidelines.
