About the role
We're looking for a talented Midweight Copywriter to join our team. You'll bring creativity and pragmatism to writing across diverse categories and platforms. Whether you're an experienced midweight writer or a junior writer ready to take the next step, this dynamic role with a leading technology company is perfect for you.
In this role, you will take creative briefs and strategically execute them, collaborating closely with teams across various media channels. You'll develop a deep understanding of Dyson's story, ensuring your copy reflects our heritage, philosophy, and clear consumer benefits, without resorting to marketing jargon. Meticulous attention to detail is essential as you proofread and ensure impeccable grammar in your work.
As a valued member of our Copy team, you'll actively share your knowledge and contribute to the continuous improvement of copy at Dyson. You'll have the opportunity to present your work confidently to stakeholders, articulating your ideas and defending proposals with strong arguments based on evidence and reasoning.

About you
- 3+ years of experience in reputable creative agencies, in-house teams, or as a successful freelance writer
- Preferably experienced in writing technology copy
- Proficient in storytelling and understanding narrative structure to engage and captivate audiences on a human level
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, and web software
- Quick to grasp Dyson's engineering ethos, visual identity, and what constitutes effective Dyson communication
- Confident and articulate in presenting work with passion, supporting ideas with clear rationale and creative expression
- Excellent copywriting, editing, and literacy skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Experienced in integrated campaign work in an agency, in-house, or freelance environments
- Skilled in questioning briefs and identifying key creative challenges and opportunities
- Familiarity with SEO and understanding of performance and analytical tools
