About the Role
We are currently seeking a Cook to join the team, do you have the ability and passion to produce quality dining!

As a Cook, you’ll prepare and create beautiful dishes here at Lomond Lounge - Glasgow airport

A few things about you
Your communication skills need to be strong, and your attention to detail second to none! You’ll need the ability to work well under pressure. Being a team player is key, as well as putting customer service at the heart of everything you do.
Experience on a similar location isn't vital, what does matter to us is taking pride in what you do. You'll need a willingness to learn, as there will be great opportunities to grow and progress your career with Sodexo!
Main Responsibilities- All aspects of the preparation, cooking and serving of food
- Preparation of menus
- Portion control
- Provision of special dietary meals, where appropriate
- Record keeping, for example, temperature control checks
- Control of hygiene and health and safety in the kitchen
Essential
- Kitchen experience
- Highly motivated
- Attention to detail
- Able to work on own initiative within a team environment
- Be qualified to NVQ/ SVQ/ City & Guilds level with a current food hygiene level 3 certificate
- Hold NVQ/SVQ Level 2 in Food Preparation and Cooking or equivalent
- You will have the right to live and work in the UK. You must be able to provide 5 years working history and 5 years address.
