An exciting opportunity for a passionate Cook to join a fantastic team at Auguste Care Centre, Darlington, Middleton St George.
We are looking for a highly skilled Cook who is passionate about quality food production and presentation and home cooked baking. The head chef will provide a high standard of nutrition and hydration. To support and enable residents to enjoy a diet of their choosing.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £11.81 per hour
You will be required to work as part of a team and work well in a fast paced environment ensuring that all food safety/ COSHH guidelines are adhered to.
You will take charge of the Kitchen, you ensure that standards are followed, ensure that paperwork is completed, ensure that Safe Food Better Business is followed and in place and you ensure that high standards of cleanliness is maintained to ensure that 5 Stars EHO standards are meet.
The Role will involve following a Menu, maintaining budgets and ordering foods from supplies and ensuring that stock takes are completed.
