The Role:
We are looking to recruit a trainee Bird Proofing Installer to form part of a 2-person team, completing works to a very high standard. The successful applicant will be required to take responsibility for the quality of their work and play a valuable part in moving our company forwards.
Due to high demand and our commitment to our customers, the successful applicant will be required to operate and behave at the highest possible professional level, giving our customers nothing but their undivided attention.
Key Objectives:
The key responsibility of the role is to deliver a high-level bird control service to our customers ensuring you are customer focused at all times. This will involve: -
- Able to build rapport with our customers & act as a company ambassador
- Possesses a sound understanding of Health and Safety
- Not afraid of working at heights or getting dirty!
- The ability to work alone and within small teams
- Duties within this role will involve identifying different bird types and determining the best course of removal and prevention.
- Flexible with start/finish times, willing to travel and stay away on occasion. (Fixed Bonus for each working away / night shift)
- Working weekends/bank holidays will be required from time to time. (As much notice as possible will be given)
About You:
Essential Criteria
- Hard working & dedicated to training towards this specialist trade within the Pest Control Industry
- Ability to use own initiative, work alone & in small teams
- Quick learner with career development aspirations
- Strong communicator at all levels – proficient use of English, both verbally & written
Desirable Criteria
- Full UK Driving License
- Previous experience working on a site
- Has previously used basic power tools

Salary: £25,000 pa. + Overtime + Bonuses
Location: Gloucestershire + UK Travel & Occasional Stopovers
Holiday: 28 Days (inc BH), increases over duration of employment
