Job description

To aid in the design, operation and oversight of a key control framework and mechanisms. Provide on-going assurance over its design and operation. Lead on the design and operation of a service assurance mechanism consulting with third party support and internal stakeholders to define control objectives and control activities which will demonstrate the firm's risk management standards and sound level of controlAid business understanding of risk, risk management and control - with a specific focus on operational / process level risk managementSupport business owners in the identification and understanding of risks to ensure that appropriate and proportionate control frameworks are designed and operated to mitigate risk within appetiteMonitor service assurance mechanisms (ISAE3402, MESAD product assurance, DC AAF) to ensure that they are an accurate reflection of the firm's key controls and are operating effectively.Where required review significant findings and assist management with first line accountability to correct and implement updated control activitiesReport to key governance forums (Risk Committee, Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee) on the performance of service assurance reviews and the management of any identified control exceptions To perform all duties in line with the Information Security policy. To comply with the Data Protection Policy when dealing with personal data in the course of employment including personal data relating to any employee, customer, client, supplier, or agent of the Company.To develop and take ownership of the firm's vision, Business Plan, and values, and to be totally committed to these.
