Brilliant opportunity to join this leading UK TV Indie that has produced some of the most critically acclaimed, cutting edge & award-winning content in recent times in the UK/international industry.

Reporting to the MD as the number 1 in finance this is a broad and business-facing role covering core actuals/reporting, FP&A/decision support and overseeing transactional with a small finance team to support you.

Looking for a hands-on FC/FM or Senior Management Accountant looking for the next step with a proven background in TV.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the full month-end process and accounting processes for the main production companies and subsidiaries
  • Preparation of Monthly P&L and Balance Sheet, cash-flow and forecasts
  • Manage the preparation of the annual budget and revisions of forecast during the year
  • Oversights of all production SPV’s and consolidated accounts
  • Manage the audit process including liaison with auditors and review od year-end audit files
  • Manage and develop financial systems and always look to improve reporting process and tighten controls
  • Preparation of financial models and analysis of green light/lit projects
  • Support the MD/Commercial Director as main business partner providing financial analysis/modelling to aid decision support.
  • Contribute to business planning and provide assistance to strategy formulation through project reviews and cost analysis
  • Lead and develop a small finance team
  • Ad hoc project & analysis work as directed by the MD/Commercial Director/Board

Required Experience:

  • Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
  • Experienced FM/FC/Senior Accountant with a background in TV
  • Experience in managing and mentoring a junior finance team advantageous
  • Take a business partnering approach to finance and can quickly establish credibility with senior stakeholders
  • Stellar presentation and communication skills with proven ability of influencing others to ensure deadlines are met
  • Excellent attention to detail, highly organised and able to meet tight deadlines
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, who can demonstrate the ability to use own initiative and able to drive change and grow with the role.
  • Excellent IT skills. Knowledge of PMI advantageous
