Reporting to the MD as the number 1 in finance this is a broad and business-facing role covering core actuals/reporting, FP&A/decision support and overseeing transactional with a small finance team to support you.
Looking for a hands-on FC/FM or Senior Management Accountant looking for the next step with a proven background in TV.

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the full month-end process and accounting processes for the main production companies and subsidiaries
- Preparation of Monthly P&L and Balance Sheet, cash-flow and forecasts
- Manage the preparation of the annual budget and revisions of forecast during the year
- Oversights of all production SPV’s and consolidated accounts
- Manage the audit process including liaison with auditors and review od year-end audit files
- Manage and develop financial systems and always look to improve reporting process and tighten controls
- Preparation of financial models and analysis of green light/lit projects
- Support the MD/Commercial Director as main business partner providing financial analysis/modelling to aid decision support.
- Contribute to business planning and provide assistance to strategy formulation through project reviews and cost analysis
- Lead and develop a small finance team
- Ad hoc project & analysis work as directed by the MD/Commercial Director/Board
Required Experience:
- Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
- Experienced FM/FC/Senior Accountant with a background in TV
- Experience in managing and mentoring a junior finance team advantageous
- Take a business partnering approach to finance and can quickly establish credibility with senior stakeholders
- Stellar presentation and communication skills with proven ability of influencing others to ensure deadlines are met
- Excellent attention to detail, highly organised and able to meet tight deadlines
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, who can demonstrate the ability to use own initiative and able to drive change and grow with the role.
- Excellent IT skills. Knowledge of PMI advantageous
