About the role
Within Ocado Group sits Ocado Technology Operations, whose mission is ‘to orchestrate the implementation of Ocado’s platforms globally’. This department focuses on the full programme management lifecycle of the implementation of our CFC -from pre-deal, through to the design, construction, installation, testing and ‘go-live’ phases (with all the process and portfolio management in between).
The MRP Data Controller is accountable for data set up, maintenance and related processes within the Oracle MRP system. This role is key in ensuring that MRP runs effectively and accurately, ensuring that build materials and finished goods are available to fulfil project demand plans on time, in full, as well as ensuring that the appropriate financial and tax requirements are set up correctly. As our client base and number of projects grow, together with continuing innovation in the OSP platform, efficient management and maintenance of MRP data is vital to ensure product demand is met for all stages of our projects.
We’d love to hear from you if you have…
- Good functional understanding and familiarity with MRP systems - Inventory, Purchasing, Order Management, and Costing modules
- Strong experience working within supply chain, ideally within an MRP planning or data role
- Strong analytical skills, capable of handling large data sets, with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment - proven follow-through and adherence to changing priorities and deadlines
- Experience using Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and preparation
- Ability to explain complex problems/ processes in a clear, concise manner
- Strong stakeholder management skills

- Experience of working in an Engineering environment
- Experience of Oracle software
