Position: Site based Document ControllerLocation: Acton
Division: Datacentres
Job Purpose
To co-ordinate the flow of project documentation internally and externally. To ensure an efficient office-based administration service to both office and site-based teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal customers and other parties in the best interests of the business.
- To manage and control all project information using the appropriate software package / extranet system.
- To support the project teams ensuring that at all times they are up to date with relevant information.
- Point of contact for Aconex administration rights and access requirements.
- To work on and maintain Quality management documents, manage information around audits etc.
- To assist with the internal H&S audit process.
- Production of O&M Manuals as directed.
- To record site hours and prepare reports in line with reporting deadlines.
- Produce reports in a timely manner.
- Take an active role in setting up, implementing, managing and improving the document management process.
- Liaise with clients and sub-contractors regarding any queries relating to the information received and resolve these in a satisfactory and timely manner.
- To help with the BCaR process
- Experience in document control within the construction industry
- Knowledge of document control and/ or construction industry processes/ terminology preferable
- Experience of working on a construction site environment (in a similar role) preferable
- Experience using an electronic document control system preferable
- Knowledge of Aconex or other construction document management software.
- Experience in Microsoft Office 365
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Methodical approach to duties
- Enjoys working in a fast pace, changing and demanding environment.
- Able to continuously prioritise tasks to suit the Project's needs
- Tolerance of stress, stays focused under pressure
