Our long-standing client has successfully blended PE funding, growth, operational excellence, profit within an ethical area of investment and trading.
Due to a period of sickness and recuperation there is an immediate need for an experienced, proven, consulting Financial Controller to support the business for the next 3+ months. To allow a handover, the client is ideally seeking a Qualified professional who could start the w/c 24th July. Very much an interesting, BAU role, duties will include: -
Ability to understand the key levers of the business straight away
Ensure the ongoing, timely and efficient operation and deliver by the finance function
Supervision and support of a small finance team
Monthly management reporting including commercial reporting to Group
Also reporting to Operational leaders within this national, consulting provider
Weekly cashflow reporting and management - internally and to the PE Investors - and supplier payment management
Ensure compliance with funding requirements
Ad hoc reporting & analysis - e.g. in assessing potential acquisitions / tenders
It is a great business with a strong track record (and future plans) for growth. Operating nationally there are key leadership positions based in Manchester and London. The role is remote with the need for monthly travel to London and Manchester. The successful candidate will be: -
Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
An experience finance leader (at FC/FD level)
Able to illustrate commercial acumen and success in similar roles
A career contractor who is used to performing to clear KPIs from day 1
Immediately available
Experience within a healthcare setting would be a benefit but not essential.
