Financial Controller
Up to £60,000 (depending on experience)
Full time - 9am-5pm (Monday to Friday)

On their behalf, we are looking for an experienced and professional Financial Controller to join the Finance Team, to help drive their growing empire.

What you’ll be doing:
· Work on improving efficiency and effectiveness of internal controls and processes within the finance function.
· Lead, develop, and manage the accounts team.
· Oversee and take responsibility for the accounts function within the organisation.
· Work on implementing automation within the accounts and finance department to improve accuracy and efficiency.
· Preparation of monthly management accounts.
· Overseeing the year end audit with the external accountants.
· Attending finance meetings and liaising with funders.
· Develop, implement, and monitor budget reports.
· Develop, implement, and monitor real time forecasting reports.
· Develop, implement, and monitor cash flow forecasts.
· Providing and identifying KPI reports that will be useful for management within the organisation.
· Managing stock control and ensuring the stock system is accurate.
· Analysing management reports and providing recommendations to improve profitability, manage risk, and ensure sufficient liquidity.
· Assist and work with senior management to develop financial and business strategies to support the long-term goals of the organisation.
You will ideally have:
· An ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualification.
· Experience working in a similar role.
· Cosmetic industry experience; this is preferable but not essential.
· The ability to work independently.
· The ability to oversee and support team members.
· Good written and organisational skills.
· A positive attitude and be able to communicate with a variety of people.
