As a Finance Controller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the financial operations of the organization. Role: Finance Controller
Location: Burton – Hybrid
Salary Package: £50,000 – £55,000 + Annual Bonus

The job responsibilities include:

• Lead the financial planning and budgeting process, working closely with department heads to ensure accurate and comprehensive financial forecasts.
• Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other relevant reports for management and stakeholders.
• Implement and maintain effective risk management strategies, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Monitor and analyse manufacturing costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency improvements.
• Oversee cash flow management and treasury functions to optimize liquidity and financial stability.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
• Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Requirements:

• Finalist or Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Proven experience as a Finance Controller or similar senior finance role in a manufacturing company
• In-depth understanding of financial management principles, accounting practices, and financial analysis techniques
• Familiarity with relevant financial regulations, reporting standards, and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
