At Saint-Gobain we are looking for IT Contracts Manager to work in our Digital Team helping to deliver commercial improvements, cost savings and enhanced value for our external IT. Support, Data and Digital contracts.

You will be required to manage a register of all live commercial agreements (including a library of all Software licensing) and you will work closely with the Head of Contracts to review and reshape all existing commercial services and licensing arrangements into IT, Data and Digital. Your role will also encompass ensuring all Saint-Gobain mandated security processes for contracts are adhered to.

Also, you will be playing a supporting role in shaping all future commercial arrangements to procure IT, Data or digital initiatives including websites, CRM, eCommerce, mobile apps, IoT & specialist applications for areas of our business such as Supply Chain, Transport, HR and manage our licensing exposure accordingly.

This role can be worked from a few locations (Elland, Tadley, or East Leake), but for the right person, we could even consider home based with some presence at some of these sites.

What we’re looking for:

• Prior digital and IT contract negotiation experience is essential, as is the stamina, drive, and energy to thrives in a complex and demanding IT & digital environment
• Legal knowledge – either gained through previous procurement roles or legal contract experience
• Experience of negotiating enterprise-grade digital and IT solutions in a national or international multi-site business.
• Supplier relationship management skills
• Experience in providing support in running or chairing regular steering meetings with key stakeholders and partners
• Experienced and able to renegotiate in-flight contracts to drive enhanced value or risk transference

What you will be doing:

• Achieving best value from supplier contracts for Saint-Gobain UK & Ireland for IT, Support, Digital & Data, with particular focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
• Support the Head of Contracts to manage suppliers within agreed budgets and to contractual commitments
• Successfully helping us to select and on-board key suppliers by controlling and running RFPs and tender activity to drive competition into our supplier base.
• Ensure all IT & Digital contracts are negotiated and subsequently performing as expected with the relevant delivery teams as appropriate
• Drive quality and security into all our deliverables, ensuring all onboarding tasks are completed before signature. For example, ensuring a Security Improvement plan is in place, and a PSAT is progressed before hand-over to the project manager / scrum-master, and requesting the initial funding is in place during the RFP process prior to handing over to the delivery team
• Demonstrate thought-leadership to the Head of Contracts and the business generally. Looking to improve areas of efficiency or through negotiating commercially beneficial contractual outcomes.
