We are excited to be assisting our client in their search for a skilled Contracts Manager to oversee multiple projects from inception to successful completion. As a Contracts Manager, you will play a crucial role in the seamless execution of various projects, collaborating with various stakeholders and ensuring projects are delivered within budget and specified timelines.
Responsibilities:
- Attend pre-start meetings and surveys to gather essential project information.
- Collaborate with structural engineers for design direction and calculations.
- Supervise draughtsmen and resource materials for cost-effective manufacturing.
- Efficiently plan fabrication and site installation resources alongside other managers.
- Prepare Method Statements and Risk Assessments to ensure safety and compliance.
- Provide clear direction and management to on-site labor for snag-free installations.
- Handle monthly applications and contribute to final account agreements with the Directors.
Skills Required:
The successful candidate must possess a "can do" mentality, exhibiting exceptional self-management skills to thrive in this role. Flexibility is crucial, as you will be managing multiple contracts with varying deadlines and may need to travel nationwide as necessary. Proficiency in basic IT skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, is essential. Familiarity with web-based Document Control portals like Aconex, ProCore, BC, etc., will be an added advantage. Knowledge of BS EN 1090 requirements for Exc 2 & 3 is expected.
