An opportunity has arisen for two Contracts Assistant to join the Contracts Team at the University on fixed term basis for 12 months. The Contracts Assistant will be based in the Directorate of Research & Business Engagement Services providing a professional service to colleagues across the University with respect to a range of contractual, legal and administrative services, including the negotiation and preparation of specific types of agreements drafting, reviewing, negotiating and advising on a variety of low risk contracts and contractual arrangements, but more specifically and in the main, the less legally complex agreements such as confidentiality agreements, contractual amendments, study site agreements, incoming sub-contracts from other universities/higher education institute and certain government department contracts.
With a legal qualification and/or relevant experience of contractual issues, you will have attention to detail, communication and interpersonal skills you will have a flexible approach to work with the ability to prioritise a demanding programme of work to meet set deadlines.
