Introduction
Our client is a leading Defence and Security client who are looking for a Contracts Administrator to help support their tender and pre- and post-contract contract administration.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Contracts specialist who take responsibility for the whole contract documentation process, ensuring that contracts are compliant and all documents are stored correctly!
Reporting to the Contracts Lead, you will be required to provide updates to the Project, Engineering and Construction teams and ensure that documents are provided in accordance with the Project Schedule and Contracting Plan.
Working pattern: Hybrid work, expected to work in office/on site approx. 2 days per week.
Key responsibilities
- To review tender document in accordance with the timing requirements of the contracting plan.
- To review contracts queries during the tender period and issue comments to the Buyer.
- To attend pre-award negotiations with short listed tenderer(s) managed by the Buyer.
- Administer post-contract award documentation.
- To review the confirmed contract document for signatures by the Contractor and the Client.
- To ensure that all required insurances, securities, and any other pre-mobilisation requirements are in place before commencement of work at site.
Skills & experience
- Experience within a similar role administering high value contracts
- Administering contract paperwork
- A working knowledge of contractual law and qualification
- Organised and committed to maintaining the contracts documentation logs
- Knowledge of the whole contractual process from pre-contract/tender to contractual sign off
