As a Contracts Specialist, you’ll be part of the Commercial Contracts Management (CCM) Team for the BioProduction Group! As part of this group, this will involve supporting the BioProduction Group Sales portfolio which provides biotechnology, pharmaceutical and other customers with integrated solutions across the entire bioprocessing product portfolio.

Based in the EMEA region, focusing on the DACH area, you'll be involved in high level deal discussions with the selling team and the customer, acting generally as the project manager to collate responses into a cohesive submission document, and to drive the teams to finalize the deal. Additionally, this will include maintaining project tracking in SalesForce from RFQ initiation through to submission and award. You'll also partner and work closely with other subject matter experts such as Sr. Manager Contracts, Sales account managers, Finance, Legal, HR, and commercial colleagues on contractual related matters.

This is a full time, permanent 100% remote working opportunity to be based within Europe.

What will you do?

Conduct high level reviews of RFQs to spot issues identified in the Negotiation Playbook, and advise Sales team approval stance
Act as first level negotiator with Sales and customers’ procurement leaders applying pre-approved responses in the negotiation playbook
Working with Sales and other commercial team members, drive the timely completion of all steps in the RFQ process, and collate and build the submission for RFQs
Build Malbek requests for confidentiality agreements for Sales personnel
Raise contractual issues outside of Negotiation Playbook to the Senior Manager
Build a SFDC project for all new RFQ inquiries and maintain the project by adding relevant information, crafting tasks for internal subject matter experts, and closing out the project after submission
Collaborate with commercial team to review quotes/proposals, bids and tenders (RFQs) for relevant contractual issues applying our negotiation playbook

Who we are looking for:

LLM/LLB qualification preferred or equivalent working experience
Ideally has a legal background with experience of negotiating agreements with a focus in procurement
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Project support management skills
Additional language skills to support the DACH region would be helpful
