Bounce Back Project is a social enterprise that was established 2011. Its purpose has always been to reduce re-offending by creating trade-based employment opportunities within the social enterprise as a stepping-stone to sustainable and well paid work.
Bounce Back Project started out providing painting and decorating services around London and continues to offer those services today. Since 2021, we widened our offer to include more trades with the ambition of attracting a broader range of contracts, that provide even more on-the-job learning and paid work for ex-offenders; painting and decorating, groundworks, landscaping, building services and maintenance.

- Provide administrative support to The Contracts Manager
- Handling all incoming calls for Bounce Back Project team, and liaising with the Contracts Manager to provide timely responses, and accurate information
- Monitoring the social enterprise e-mail inbox, and providing support to the Contracts Manager email inbox where needed – managing and responding to queries
- Maintain a log of all prerequisites in relation to health and safety such as professional body memberships IE; CHAS, Builders Profile, Construction-line etc and adherence to building code/regulations
- Support the Contracts manager with managing application, and renewal requirements for professional body memberships
- Coordinating jobs from quotation to completion; including the completion of relevant documents for internal and external use
- Ensure all jobs have schedule of works, service level agreements and health and safety pre-requisites prior to jobs commencing
- Maintain a work tracker of active and planned jobs to ensure effective planning of contractors and trainees on jobs
- Support the smooth onboarding of new trainees and contractors ensuring all the correct documents are in place such as CSCS Green card, UTR(Unique Tax reference) and CIS registration
- Act as a point of contact for managing contractor queries for jobs, and payment of invoices/timesheets
- Collating and tracking invoices against planned jobs in conjunction with the finance officer
- Manage and maintain a database of subcontractor and potential clients
- Monitor risk assessments of participants and ensure these are kept up to date liaising with referral partners
- Ensure effective and timely storage of electronic and paper-based documents, including for example filing, archiving, photocopying
- Adherence to all GDPR requirements are being adhered to in relation to the storage of data, and review and update in line with policies
- Act as an ambassador for Bounce Back at networking events
- Work with colleagues to produce engaging case studies and/or positive testimonials
Personal Specification
Knowledge and Skills
- Experience of providing administrative support within a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in producing letters, documents and supporting production of reports
- Good all round IT skills, with experience of managing spreadsheets and databases
- An understanding and appreciation of the administrative support to small businesses, construction or facilities management
- Understanding of CAD plans and installation drawings would be an advantage
- Understanding of the employment barriers faced by prison leavers, young people leaving police custody and those with a history of substance misuse face
