Job description
As the Continuous Improvement Manager, your role will be to drive the CI culture, with Lean six sigma methodology, throughout the business to bring about sustained improvement within our processes whilst building people engagement. The processes and areas of work to be aligned with internal and external customer’s needs.
Key Responsibilities:
· Material & labour management
· Maintenance / engineering / change-over
· Production Planning
· Workplace organisation & Lean “waste”
· Visualisation of balanced scorecard KPI data & tiered performance of KPIs / performance
· DMAIC - Improve the quality of results that company processes produce
· A3 / Practical Problem Solving approach
· Work with large data sets
· Lead creation and deploy of annual ManEx roadmap plan
· Lead CI maturity assessment and prioritise capability build into ManEx deployment roadmap
· Structured approach to CI / PIP project execution
· CI Program governance
Essential Experience / Qualifications and Attributes Required:
· Lean Six Sigma Green Belt as a minimun
· HNC or equivalent in manufacturing / operations ( Desirable )
· Development, facilitation and “ SMART “ follow through of workshops e.g. kaizen events
· Training in CI methodology
· Good coaching skills
· Training delivery certification
· Application of DMAIC methodology in own and through the business
· Line management experience to include performance management and development
· Practical working knowledge of Lean and six sigma
· Computer literate and competent in the use of Microsoft applications
