Position Purpose
As Copywriter, Communications, and Digital Content Creator, you will be a core member of our full-service, in-house digital marketing and communications team. You will play a key role in supporting our high-performing digital marketing team by creating written content for websites, social media, blogs, advertisements, press releases, emails and internal communication documents. Your exceptional communications skills and your ability to shape compelling content will help drive online conversions and engagement.
Primary Responsibilities
- Researching topics and keywords for website and blog content.
- Writing online content such as webpages, product descriptions, blogs, posts, and press-releases.
- Writing compelling ad copy and social media posts for both RankWorks and our clients.
- Communicate with clients by phone and email.
- Copy edit material written for marketing and communications.
Position Qualifications
Education
Undergraduate degree in communications or journalism related field with at least 1 to 2 years of experience developing and maintaining digital multi-media communication content.
Experience
Has had past experience communicating with clients to gather information for content writing purposes and customer support.
Skills And Abilities
- Ability to write and edit several different types of copy from journalistic articles, press releases, web copy to advertising print copy, social media content and radio ads
- Copy editing skills
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Solid organization and project management skills
- Proficiency in Office software and publication tools
- Experience working with multiple social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, etc…
- Basic understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) and how search engines such as Google work.
