Position Summary
Under the direction of the Manager, Marketing, Recruitment and Communications, the incumbent is responsible for designing and creating content through photos, videos and marketing materials. The content produced by the incumbent will be used for College recruitment initiatives, social media campaigns and other internal and external applications and may be utilized on all social media sites (Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Youtube, etc.) and other emerging social media channels, as well as on the College website(s), in presentations and on other owned channels. The incumbent will create content that meets brand standards and reflects a positive image of the College in online communities locally, provincially, nationally and globally. Activities include, but are not limited to: developing, creating and producing social media content, working on graphic design projects, managing media assets and maintaining an organized media archive; updating, uploading and managing online photo and video platforms (ex. YouTube). The incumbent will work in collaboration with the Manager, Graphic Designer and Communications Officer as a consulting team for internal clients to develop and implement marketing strategies and tactics.

- Experience creating content for various social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, etc.). Experience in developing content for posting on all designated social media platforms.
- Knowledge of video storyboarding, production, editing
- Knowledge of taking photos and using photo editing software
- Ability to communicate information and ideas in video format.
- Strong time management skills
- Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal and human relation skills.
- A solid team player with a commitment to providing quality customer service in a timely manner.
- Ability to manage a number of projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and initiate creative solutions.
