Job description
Condo Control is looking for a creative Content Writer with a knack for turning technical concepts and information into practical and appealing marketing content. If this is you, we'd like to invite you to join our team!
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for producing a variety of content ranging from short ad copy and social media posts to long articles and case studies. You will collaborate with a variety of colleagues from marketing, sales, customer success and development.
As the sole content writer, you will have creative freedom to cover topics that would be of interest to people who live in and work for condominium and homeowner associations. You will contribute to community forums, direct bilingual freelance writers, and publish resources that generate valuable leads.
Please note that this is a temporary position covering a 12-month maternity leave.

Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Gain an in-depth understanding of both our product and our market in order to ensure a deep understanding of our customers' needs
- Learn about condo and HOA legislation, rules, challenges and trends
- Research and write creative, engaging, B2B and B2C content for digital and social platforms
- Write articles for the website and external publications, ad campaigns, website copy, sales collateral, scripts, material for clients, and trade show materials
- Edit articles, sales material and content created by other teams
- Participate in interviews for case studies. This involves setting up meetings with clients, conducting interviews, reviewing the recordings, and summarizing key messages
- Ensure content is on-brand, consistent in terms of messaging, quality and tone, and optimized for searchability and user experience
- Collaborate with other teams in the company
- Work on small and large projects
- Maintain high copywriting and creative standards
- Influence decision-makers at multiple levels
Your Skills and Experience (Required)
- Degree or diploma in Copywriting, Communications, Journalism, Creative Writing, Professional Writing or English
- Minimum 3 years of professional writing experience
- Excellent storytelling abilities
- Comfortable taking initiative, asking questions and moving projects forward
- Dynamic writing skills that enable you to change writing styles based on different consumer segments
- Ability to work on concurrent projects with established deadlines
- Ability to produce fact-based content and simplify complex ideas for diverse audiences
- Willingness to work closely with a team
- Agency or B2B writing experience is considered an asset

- Property management industry experience
