As a Content Writer for CHP, you’ll enjoy:
- Competitive pay: This position ranges from $45,000-$55,000 annually, based on experience plus the potential to earn a 5% incentive bonus.
- The ability to work remotely anywhere in the state of Virginia.
- Occasional travel opportunities to visit and document our team members and the residents and clients who are impacted by our work, across our properties in Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Kentucky.
- A Monday-Friday work schedule, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Job Summary
The Content Writer for Community Housing Partners (CHP) is responsible for producing various written content to support CHP’s business development, resource development, and communications strategies. Content may include impact stories for online platforms, social media posts, proposal narratives, grant applications, and other writing assignments as identified. The Content Writer produces content that is engaging, professional, reflects CHP’s editorial style, and is easily understood by target audiences. The position works closely with the Communications Manager and other Strategic Operations Department staff to write and edit language that meets strategic organizational objectives. In addition to creating original content, the Content Writer also maintains, modifies, and edits existing language and supporting visuals used to promote CHP’s capacity, impact, and values.
