An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the DN College’s Academic Services department in a role involving the development, implementation and support of software/systems that utilise web and learning technologies.
Candidates should be qualified to degree level or equivalent with experience of developing Moodle, web-based systems, websites and reporting. It is essential that candidates have experience of developing (PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Linux), Implementing, maintaining and supporting a Moodle/Canvas, learning platforms, SharePoint, Office 365. They must possess good communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to develop and deliver training for users.
The successful applicant will be involved in a wide range of projects (eg: enhancement of Moodle/Canvas, researching and developing applications, reporting and associated plugins to enhance the learner journey) and will thus have numerous opportunities to develop new skills and extend their existing skills portfolio. They will also be actively involved with colleagues across the DN Colleges Group in developing a digital strategy.
The successful candidate will be expected to work across both the North Lindsey College and Doncaster College Campus' so must be prepared to travel as required between the 2 sites located 25 miles apart.
