THE ROLE
We are seeking a Content Specialist to join our successful team. LEAP combines world-leading technology with the provision of quality content, which enables our clients to produce legal documentation both quickly and accurately.
A Content Specialist will help differentiate our company from all others. In this role, you will be working with Content Database Designers and Developers to continually improve matter types, tables, layouts, and forms for LEAP clients across multiple areas of law. You will build and utilise your strong experience using LEAP, your knowledge of the legal industry and processes to ensure our Content meet the needs of the LEAP clients.
This is the perfect position for someone with a legal background who is looking to take their career in a new direction and work with the latest technology. We are looking for someone is driven to provide the best possible result for clients, who is technically minded, with a strong eye for detail.
Working Pattern & Location
08:30 – 1700 Monday to Friday, Cardiff Office
3 days office based and 2 days home based
Requirements
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGResearch forms, legislation, and legal processes relevant to LEAP matter types, tables, dates and forms.
- Ensure the compliance of forms, automation, and database changes with legal processes.
- Ensure the consistency and quality of Content released with Global Content Standards.
- Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams to improve LEAP Matter types and legal forms.
- Evaluate cases and change requests received from clients.
- Provide ongoing training Operation teams, ensuring teams are always up to date with new Content releases.
- Build knowledge and understanding of the Content tools, applications and document automation technology used by technical team members and use to shape own work.
- Work closely with Content Database Designers and Content Developer to continually improve matter types, tables, and layouts for LEAP clients across areas of law and help shape the user requirements for complex forms or tables.
- Work closely with the Form’s team to continually improve the automation and functionality of legal forms.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOUEssential:
- 2+ years’ experience working in a law firm (paralegal, legal assistant, lawyer etc.), preferably across multiple practice areas,
- High level of attention to detail, and adherence to established standards Legal research experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Drive to provide the best possible result for clients.
- Experience balancing competing priorities and shifting deadlines.
- Ability to work well independently and within a collaborative team environment.
- A strong understanding of Microsoft software (most importantly Word and Excel).
- A willingness to learn new technology and skill and in variety of ways: documentation, videos, peer learning or in person sessions, through experience and giving things a go.
Desirable:
- Previous experience with case management systems.
- Experience preparing court and/or government forms.
