Job description
The Law Office of Barton Morris is a boutique law firm conveniently located in Troy. The firm is looking to hire a Marketing Content Strategist. This role requires strong writing skills and the ability to produce compelling content for SEO optimization, social engagement, and driving inbound website traffic. The strategist will collect/research information about different types of targeted client personas to analyze and create content strategies to convert new and existing customers.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Performs exhaustive research to gain in-depth knowledge of all customer personas.
· Creates specifications and content appropriate for the firm’s client personas.
· Strategizes content pillars and sub pillars.
· Plans the editorial calendar and content proposition across various platforms.
· Collaborates with management teams, creative teams, and writers to implement the
strategy.
· Develops editorial content is consistent across all delivery platforms including email
campaigns, multiple websites, blogs, and social media.
· Tracks and evaluates content ROI.
· Ensures content strategy meets business objectives.
· Strategizes and improves content delivery and promotion.
· Analyzes content marketing strategy to evaluate its effectiveness and performance.
Qualifications and Skills·
· Must be familiar and proficient with content creation and deployment across multiple
platforms, including but not limited to email campaigns, blogs, social media, website, and
landing pages.
· Demonstrated knowledge with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and/or In Design preferred.
· Must be familiar with automated marketing strategies and deployment. Hubspot
experience preferred.
· Understanding of digital marketing concepts, creation, and strategy to optimize desired
results.
· Minimum 2 years of experience in content writing
· Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communication, Marketing or related degree.
· Must be a creative, strategic, and result-driven thinker.
· Resourceful, tech savvy individual with strong communication and writing skills.
· Previous legal and cannabis industry experience is a plus, but not required.
