MULTIMEDIA CONTENT SPECIALIST
Highland Community College is looking for a full-time Multimedia Content Specialist who enjoys using their interdisciplinary marketing skillset to create, produce and serve as a steward of branded digital and print collateral. In this role, you will act as a web/graphic designer and photographer/videographer. The qualified candidate will support HCC’s institutional campaigns to increase enrollment and retention, as well as select events and special projects. Cross-channel comfort is essential — from the college website to social media and digital advertising to signage and billboards, publications and other printed materials.
The incumbent will produce, manage, and provide creative direction on projects, ensuring brand compliance, accessibility standards and marketing best practices are met. This position will be a primary web administrator of highland.edu, and is also responsible for organizing and maintaining a multimedia library in an asset management platform.
A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, journalism, graphic design, visual arts or related field and three to five (3-5) years of experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience is required for this role. Candidate must possess skills in multimedia content creation, including web/graphic design and photo/video production, along with specialized and up-to-date knowledge of web accessibility requirements.
