Senior Content Producer
Location: GSK House

This role in our Communication & Government Affairs (CGA) business unit will provide you with the opportunity to lead the design, production and approvals process for creative content to support external and internal communications across all areas of the business. As a Senior Content Producer, you will develop content across a variety of formats, including but not limited to video, photography, social media, animation, graphic design, podcasts and infographics.
Responsibilities:
- Work with key stakeholders across CGA to understand and interrogate business and audience objectives for content required to support planned communications and campaigns
- Translate complicated subject matter – ranging from business strategy, financial results, technology and science involved in developing new medicines and vaccines, or complex information about different diseases – into simple, compelling, visual content
- Ensure content being developed is of a consistent quality, appropriate for audiences and channels, including having challenging conversations with senior stakeholders where initial briefs may not meet these standards
- Develop detailed briefs for content required, with appropriate input and approval from key stakeholders
- Storyboard and plan content as appropriate, ensuring creative approach meets business and audience objectives
- Drive decision-making around the content production process, including content design and development, selecting and managing agencies and partners, including negotiating appropriate fees
- Ensure creative content is developed to time, budget and appropriate quality
- Secure requisite approvals for all content created, including problem-solving and navigating conflicting opinions among senior stakeholders to reach consensus
- Apply data and insights from measurement activities to future content creation and production to ensure a consistently high performance across content created, and that content meets the original objectives
- Foster and work with a network of agency partners, freelancers and other partners to deliver the highest quality creative content
- Be an expert and champion our brand identity across the business
About this role:
This role will require knowledge of the content production process, guiding stakeholders through refining a brief, supporting storyboarding and data-led/audience appropriate creative approaches, selecting and working with agencies and partners to deliver content design and development. This requires strong experience in communications and design within major global businesses. You will be expected to understand, simplify and convey extremely complex information into simple, engaging creative content.

Knowledge and education required to be successful in this role:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience to show rigour and quality of thinking
- Demonstrable experience in creative content development and production
- The ability to work proactively within time and budget restrictions, with a positive attitude to get things done in a matrixed organisation
- Evidence of passion and enthusiasm for content creation and drive to share that knowledge and excitement with others
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Master’s degree or equivalent technical qualification
- Experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical industries in related field
