Job description
We are a recording, production and media company based in East London specialising in high quality audio and video production, and media services for a variety of independent and major label artists.
Our marketing department is expanding and we require an experienced Content Producer to join our existing team.
About The Role
The role will suit a multi-skilled, passionate and efficient storyteller who has experience in delivering content strategies, covering a variety of digital outputs from inception to release to reporting.
Working closely with other marketing and studio staff, as well as external clients, the role will require content production skills to create and deliver a variety of high quality content for websites, social media platforms, email campaigns and other advertising outlets.
Key Responsibilities
Planning
- Support the Managing Director in the development of content and marketing strategies for the company and its clients.
- Ensure the marketing team are briefed and aligned on the strategy for each brand / campaign and provide clear instructions on delivering the content required to achieve these strategies, adhering to strict deadlines.
Content Production
- Lead and consult on production for all types of content.
- Work with a broad range of creatives, in-house and external, developing streamlined ways of working.
- Work across a range of software for website editing, video editing, photography and graphic design.
- Archive content effectively.
Release Strategy
- Create release strategies across multiple channels, ensuring successful engagement from target audiences.
- Oversee effective content releases by contributing to copy writing, uploading content to the CMS and ensuring effective roll out across each platform.
- Develop ideas and initiatives for increasing reach and engagement of content across all platforms, working collaboratively with the marketing team.
- Identify opportunities for marketing, social and audience development in relation to content.
- Contribute to the production and support the marketing team in the effective release of social media content.
- Analyse and report on releases for the company and its clients, identifying key metrics to exploit or improve on.
Best Practice
- Ensure high standards of content delivery by developing policies, style guides and training, advising colleagues on best practice in production.
- Initiate best practice for the distribution of content, increasing the potential for audience growth.
- Undertake additional tasks in line with the role as required, delegated by the Managing Director.
The Person
We are looking for someone who has:
- An all-round multi-skilled content producer with preferably 3+ years experience working in a similar role.
- Experience of working and collaborating with external clients in the creative media industry.
- Ability to think creatively around content strategy, developing effective ways of engaging audiences and growing a brand.
- Project management experience, managing multiple work streams at a time.
- Experience and knowledge of the video editing process and software (DaVinci Resolve or similar).
- Experience and knowledge of the photo and graphic design editing process and software (Affinity Suite or similar).
- Experience and knowledge of managing and delivering organic and paid advertising campaigns on social media platforms (Google / Meta).
- Experience of website management and CMS, working on or managing multiple web-based projects (Wordpress or similar).
- Supporting approach to working with clients
- Understanding of production across different mediums and web-based technologies.
- A creative and editorial approach, able to generate creative ideas and adapt/repurpose content for a broad range of channels, in line with a project brief.
- Excellent understanding of brand, tone of voice, and audience development.
- Marketing and communication skills - ability to generate content campaign ideas and manage client relationships.

Salary: £25,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
