High street cut price labels were how we started the business (with our first store in Keighley) and still form a part of our range today. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Content & Media Assistant to join our Marketing team.

This role is vital in the running of the marketing team, it ensures that all areas of the team have content to drive the commercial needs of the business and ensure we’re meeting the needs of our customers. It’s a very hands on role and will require cross functional working.

This is a hybrid working role, with a requirement of at least one day a week in our Burnley Support Centre (so living within a commutable distance of Burnley, Lancashire is a must).

Responsibilities:

  • Content Planning:
    • Manage product nominations process with the commercial team for all Marketing communications.
    • Manage the content asset library, ensuring product and campaign imagery is named and filed correctly.
    • Manage Marketing Activity Calendar and create activity communication packs for stores.
    • Create weekly trade packs and monthly business update packs for Marketing.
    • React to trade performance, working at pace to deliver new activity across channels to optimise performance.
  • Media & Leaflet
    • Support with planning print and distribution of printed media and/or leaflets at key points of the year.
    • Support with the creative process, from leaflet pagination through to final printed version.
  • Photography
    • Support the process from planning to shooting.
    • Assisting the team in the campaign and still life photoshoot planning, including look building, sample management and on set.
    • Supporting the Product team with any content/image requests and arranging photography in house or externally.
  • New Stores
    • Manage any printed leaflets ahead of opening.
    • Manage the communication with the new store set up team to keep them informed on Marketing support and key dates.
  • Local Marketing
    • Manage the Toolkit for stores, including any printed collateral.
    • Attend the RBDM meetings to manage ongoing activity and any support needed.
    • Support with store queries and any reporting.
    • Manage process for Store Charities, money handovers and cheques.
  • Ad hoc support for team with admin duties.

Requirements:

  • A background in fashion/retail/marketing preferred. Degree level required.
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • A strong team player
  • Creative, with a passion for all things retail and keeping up to date with what's trending
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Commercially minded
  • A clear and articulate communicator, at all levels
  • Strong team player, able to work cross-functionally & build internal & external relationships
  • Able to work on own initiative
