RemoteStar is looking for an enthusiastic Content Writer to write both long and short-form copy across various digital media platforms.This role is for someone who is passionate about writing, and fueled by delivering exceptional copy.

As our Content Writer, you’ll be responsible for

Writing copy for Content including blog posts, social media copy, emails, website copy, print
Liaise and collaborate with our creative and marketing team.
Identify customers’ needs and gaps in the current content and recommend new topics
Writing and creating SEO optimised content, boosting our SERP rankings to be ahead of our competitors
Work with the development team to regularly update web content that reflects new product features and developments
Research and suggest timely and news agenda issues that provide a hook /angle for content, and subsequently produce a regular stream of topical, creative and engaging content that can be used across different channels
Own and continuously improve our end-to-end writing processes
Meeting the tight deadlines to produce quality content
Contribute to Content’s measurement model to understand the level of engagement and continuously make suggestions for improvement

What do we value?

A minimum of 2 years experience in content writing covering blogs, articles, social media posts etc
Proven ability to interpret and apply a brand essence, positioning and tone of voice
Strong communications skills are essential
Have a solid understanding SEO principles and tools like (href etc)
Good understanding of how google analytics work & behave
You appreciate the different requirements of copy across desktop, mobile and app, and can adapt your execution accordingly
A keen knowledge of the travel industry, trends and advancements
Excellent presentation and documentation skill
Outstanding time management skills
Experience or strong desire to work independently in a virtual team
Experience in Content Strategy is nice to have
